Financial, in-kind, and labor support
The Rȇve is possible because we are blessed to be in abundant and supportive community. The whole project could not have come into being or become the thriving place that it is if not for the many, many kinds of mutual aid relationships in which we find ourselves.
If you are here because you like the idea of the Rȇve and want to be a part of helping us do the stuff that we do, thank you!
If you want to donate money, there are a few ways. Our Patreon is one of the concentric circles of community that supports our work. If you join at any level, you get access to livestreams, zines, community-building resources, and blog posts, and our Patreon income goes to supporting our hosting infrastructure and event supplies as well as funding our travel fund to help guests who need bus tickets to get here.
If you want to make a one-time donation, you can use our Paypal or send a check to P.O. Box 6318, Kingston, NY 12402.
If you'd like to make a larger, tax-deductible donation, you may do so through the Foundation for Intentional Community, who fiscally sponsors our project. They take a percentage of all donations, but if tax deduction is important for you, that option is available! Reach out to us directly and we can make arrangements.
If you’re more excited to make an in-kind donation, we have a registry of items that we think would benefit our programming and our work caring for the land! We are often happy to receive surplus building materials or kitchen supplies, so let us know if you have those to share.
If you’d like to support our work in ways other than financial, you can check our events calendar to see our regular work parties throughout the summer season. Guests at our work parties help us care for the land, build things, plant things, make art in the woods, and then sing karaoke around the fire pit all night!
If you want to offer labor outside of a scheduled work day, shoot us an email! We often have more work to do than time to do it and we always appreciate extra hands and minds. Specific tasks that are generally helpful are offers of yard work (mowing, pulling invasive plants, weed-whacking, raking, planting), organizing (especially the garage and storage areas during hosting season!), and gear maintenance (repairing tents, staining picnic tables, washing and mending sleeping bags).
If you have ideas for programming that you’d like to work on here, or other ideas for how you’d like to be involved, we would love to hear them! Send us an email at visit@thereve.land and we’ll talk about how to plug you in!
